Real Estate Agent(REA): Yes, how can I help you?

Ashikawa(A): Hello, I’m Toru Ashikawa. We spoke earlier on the phone.

REA: Ah, yes, Mr.Ashikawa. you were interested in rental properties?

A: That’s right. My family and I will be living in the Bay Area for at least two years.

REA: I see. Well, can you tell me a little about your housing needs?

A: Well, I’m looking for a two- or three-Bedroom house not too far from my office in downtown San Francisco.

REA: I see. Well, I can show you several listings in the city itself. Does that sound all right?

A: Sure. I’m looking for something for under $4,000 a month, if possible, with a two-car garage and a sun deck.

REA: Well, it rules out the most expensive areas. But we have rental homes in the Richmond, Sunset, and Portola districts. Here are some listings.

A: Here’s one with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big garage, in the Sunset district. It looks like it has a sun deck, too.

REA: It certainly does. And from the second story, you can see the Pacific Ocean. It also has a large back yard with a garden.

A: I’d like to go see it. At $4,000, though, it’s right at our upper limit. Could you also take me to see some places that are closer to $3,000 per month?

REA: Of course, although I doubt if I can find one with a garden and a two-car garage for that little.

A: That’s all right.

REA: Well, do you have time to go look at some properties right now.

A: Certainly. Let’s go.
